I am a second year PhD student advised by Prof. Nakul Gopalan at Arizona State University(ASU). Previously, I received my Bachelor degree in maths and computer science from Bucknell University, and my Master degree in computer science from University of Rochester where I was fortunate to work with Prof. Aaron Steven White.
My research interest lies in the intersection of human-robot interaction and machine learning. I am interested in developing algorithms or frameworks that enable robots to interact with non-expert human users effectively, and obtain new skills or task knowledge from the interactions. Such methods would significantly improve the usability of robots in general household scenarios.
